Komala Vilas

What to eat: South Indian Cuisine

Where: Komala Vilas, Little India, Singapore

Verdict: After hefty shopping in Mustafa last night, we slept after midnight. So we got up bit late and decided to have breakfast in the infamous Komala Vilas in Serangoon Road. Ordered for idly, pongal and vadai. All of them were perfectly made. This resto is a tight contender to our Triplicane Ratna Cafe and Madurai Modern Restaurant.

Finally washed down with a filter coffee. Bill was slightly high at 9 SGD.

Komala's Restaurant

What to eat: South Indian Tiffin

Where: Komala's Restaurant, Little India, Singapore

Verdict: It was a decent meal at Komala's restaurant. Unike Komala Vilas, this place was pretty large with good space between the tables. But the condiments were served in plactic cups which is the only negative point. This place is more like an american fast food joint. You need to pay and get the food to your table. We had Poori with Aloo masala and Veg Gravy. No complaints at all the food. Decent place for a family dine-in.

Bukit Street

Bukit Street and its vicinity is a well known place for shopping and food in Singapore.

Here are some snaps taken during my last Singapore visit.

Hawker Stalls and Indian Restaurants of Little India

We stayed in Little India for almost a week during our last Singapore visit.

Here are snaps from the hawker stalls and Indian restaurants from some of which we had our meal.
