What to eat: Halwa and Karasev
Location: Nagapattinam Nei Mittai Kadai, West Chittirai Street, Near Meenakshi Temple - West Tower, Madurai
Verdict: Bought several packets of Halwa(320₹ per kg) and karasev(280₹ per kg) from the oldest sweet shop in Madurai. Do you believe they just celebrated 115th anniversary...Had a quick chat with the owner about the money crisis in Madurai. I don't see much crowd in many shops due to less flow of cash.
