What to eat: Kebabs
Where: Skewered, Valasaravakkam, Chennai
Verdict: Friends are like filters who filter all the stress and fillers
who add happiness to the life. Our gang decided to have a meet once in a
month. This Sunday it was a lunch meet followed by a movie. Drove to
the new outlet in Arcot road that is specialised in Kebabs.
Ordered for a
chicken platter, Garlic Cheese Tikka, Mutton Sheek kebab, Chicken
Briyani with Gol, Tawa Parotta, Malai tikka krack-en. Chicken platter
had 12 pieces of tender and juicy Achari tikka, Hariyali tikka, Reshmi
tikka. Briyani was not spicy, but tastes good with the accompanied onion
raita.
All Kebabs were served with Onion, house special schezwan sauce,
mint and spicy sauce. Krack-en was crunchy khakra with Malai tikka
topping...never miss this one. Gol was a spicy drink came free alongwith
with Briyani...it was a butter milk based drink mixed with the spicy
water(Pani Puri water). Garlic cheese tikka was a chicken tikka with
cheese topping.
Owners were friendly and asked for the feedback and
suggestions. We told them to include fish and sea food and desserts like
kulfi or some ice cream. Chicken tikka ka-fow was given as
complimentary... was something like vada pav.
Overall a small eatery for a nice
combination of tikka and kebabs. Overall bill was 1056₹.
