What to drink: Falooda
Where: Bombaysthan, Kilpauk
Verdict: Bombaysthan has multiple outlets in the city like T.Nagar, Kilpauk, Forum
Mall (Vadapalani), Nungambakkam, Adyar, Besant Nagar. They are best known for falooda and juices but also serve pizza and sandwich varieties. We choose Kilpauk
branch as it was nearer to us.
After a lunch at Anna nagar, we drove to this eatery to taste
their falooda varieties. Luckily they had an offer going on (buy one and
get one free). Ordered rose (140₹) and mango falooda (145₹).
Both varieties had the regular ingredients like sabja seeds, semiya, jelly, drink and a scoop ice cream. My
friends say it was bit diluted , but it was no qualm for me as that's
worth for the price offered. When there was no offer, the falooda used
to be great with lot of content. But today its not that great due to
less amount of contents.
What is the point of giving an offer by reducing the quality ?
If a new customer does not feel satisfied, it may result him/her stop coming again in future. Management has to think about this point, Otherwise they will not attract any new customers using such offer. However I would say one can surely visit to have falooda with sandwich and pizza even when there is no offer.
