What to eat: Regular, Millet and Herbal Dosai Varieties

Location: Moon Sun Restaurant, Opp to DLF, Ramapuram, Chennai

Verdict: This is my second visit to this food joint. Initially we were bit disappointed as most of the herbal dosai varieties were already finished. And they have not yet started making idly (note this is just a couple of weeks old food joint). So we have ordered for a Ragi Dosai (40₹), Mudakkattan Dosai (45₹), Rava Dosai (40₹).

Mudakkattan dosai had the mudakkattan keerai and tomato based masala in the middle layer rather than the ground mudakkattan paste mixed with dosai batter that we generally make at home. Ragi and Rava dosai were normal one.

All 3 varieties were large in diameter and thin layered like we get plain dosa in most of the places. Sambar was too smooth, that I wanted to drink it after finishing the dosai. Coconut chutney was bit red in colour as they have added the dried chilies instead of green chilies whilst grinding the chutney. Tomato chutney was perfect as usual.
