What to eat: Chicken and Fish Kebabs
Location: Kebab House, Inside Heritage Supermarket, Porur
Verdict: Monday was as usual hectic with work schedules. At late
evening, a decision was made to check out the recently opened kebab
stall inside a supermarket with my fellow worker. There was enough space
for two and four wheeler parking in front of supermarket.
It was
a small stall with few tables placed on the front. Ordered for Sultana
Murg Kebab Roll(140₹) for me and a Banjara Fish tikka(190₹) for my
friend who avoids chicken. Murg kebab was a big roll cut into 2 pieces.
It was 5 pieces of sultana kebab rolled with a big roti. Roti was even
bigger than a rumali roti and was similar in texture.
Fish tikka was
soft and juicy served along with mint chutney, chiffonade coriander
leaves, julienne cut onion and a cut lemon for garnishing. Both of them
were well made and definitely value for money without burning a big hole
on your wallet.
It is a nice place to hang out after finishing
your grocery shopping as this place has also got other stalls like
Madras Filter Coffee, Momo, Sugarcane Juice, Dosa, Shawarma, Frankies,..
